Dear all, I second the automatic deletion from the lir-wg list of the subscribers who set up broken auto-responders (i.e. Gert's original proposal). As the list is open to anyone as far as I know, i.e. the subscription is automatic, and does not need an authorization from a human, I see no harm in deleting such subscribers (I guess they would get a notification of the termination of the subscription anyway - otherwise I recommend to send one). Once deleted from the list, when they come back from the pleasant vacation they can on one hand re-subscribe if they wish and they can check the list archives for mail they may have missed.

While I second that, it's up to the individual list owners / chairpeople to decide for the other lists...
Yes, I second this too. Of course, Gert is right, and the list owners should probably base their decision on the above (i.e. availability of archives, automatic subscription, notification upon deletion). Janos
