Because of several recent delevopments I would like to remind local registries that they should be careful when assigning address space to themselves, i.e. their own company or subsidiaries. You should be 200% sure that you make these assignments according to the current guidelines and that you do not give yourself more favourable terms than you would have given another organisation. It should also go without saying that you should file the documentation required and be able to produce it on request. If you have any doubt, the NCC will be happy to review your assignments. In fact I am proposing to the local-IR WG to make review by the NCC mandatory for self assignments. Daniel
