Hi! Can anybody reach 2001:502:d399::1? It is the DNS server listed in the .org and some other TLDs. Now I'm getting ICMP6 host unreachable and DNS slows down slightly, -- WBR, Max Tulyev (MT6561-RIPE, 2:463/253@FIDO)

No route in my BGP tables... GRH has a /48, but only a single path: grh.sixxs.net> show ipv6 bgp 2001:502:d399::1 BGP routing table entry for 2001:502:d399::/48 Paths: (1 available, best #1, table Default-IP-Routing-Table) Not advertised to any peer 3327 6667 8586 2914 12008 2001:ad0:fe:0:205:32ff:fe03:c650 from 2001:ad0:fe:0:205:32ff:fe03:c650 (212.47.200.1) - so it seems that their upstream (verio, 2914) isn't distributing this prefix widely enough... Or maybe it's a ghost - we peer with 6667 and 2914 at DECIX, and neither is sending me the prefix. (PS: for operational content, the ipv6-ops@cluenet.de is always a good idea, as a large number of international operators are reading that list. It's pretty low volume, so nobody will be swamped by e-mails when subscribing :) - see http://lists.cluenet.de/mailman/listinfo/ipv6-ops ) Gert Doering -- NetMaster -- Total number of prefixes smaller than registry allocations: 98999 SpaceNet AG Mail: netmaster@Space.Net Joseph-Dollinger-Bogen 14 Tel : +49-89-32356-0 D- 80807 Muenchen Fax : +49-89-32356-234

no route in my BGP table, I got this prefix last week. BGP Play http://www.ris.ripe.net/bgplay/ shows that 2001:502:d399::/48 has been with withdrawal today. kind regards Martin Vyskocil ---------------------------- Martin VYSKOCIL Telekom Austria AG PTM/DW/TRADAT Tel.: +43 59059 1 43429 FAX: +43 59059 1 43492 mailto:mvyskocil@highway.telekom.at

Same here. Their nameserver (tld1.ultradns.net) has stopped answering last week (wednesday evening about 9pm GMT). I remember trying to traceroute6 it a few days after that and I saw a loop, I think between Verio PE and CPE. Now it is gone ... Regards, Bernhard
