Dear IPv6 Working Group, The term of Christian Seitz, who has been one of the co-chairs of the IPv6 Working Group since RIPE 87, ends with the RIPE 93 meeting in Sofia in October. Thus, we have a call for candidates. The term of a IPv6 WG co-chair is three years. A current co-chair may stand for re-selection at the end of their term or may resign voluntarily at any time. What is the IPv6 WG doing: The working group activities may be anything useful in helping people to deploy IPv6, and to manage IPv4/IPv6 co-existence. These activities include: * Outreach * Education * Sharing deployment experiences * Discussing and fixing operational issues The co-chairs also prepare the program for the IPv6 WG session at the RIPE meetings. The working group will cooperate with operators and others, both inside and outside the networking industry, to share resources and combine efforts. Dear IPv6 Working Group, about three years ago I started as a WG co-chair and would like to volunteer for another term. For those who do not know me, some more details: I attended most of the meetings since RIPE56 and I'm doing a lot of networking on the meetings. I am dealing with IPv6 for more than 20 years now and like to prepare the sessions and continue working with Ray and Wolfgang. I am 49yo and live in Berlin. In 2004 I did my first IPv6 configurations at the non-commercial ISP IN-Berlin e.V. where I am member of the board since 2001. Some years ago IN-Berlin also built Community-IX as a sponsored transit exchange for non-commercial organizations in Germany. Since 2019 I am working as a network consultant for system.de, which is part of the Springboard Network group, and was team lead of the network department of a big german hosting company before.
