Dear All,
With IPv4 the address allocation process, procedures and policies are well documented with RIPE-141, 142 and 185.
How does a registry apply for an IPv6 address block from RIPE? Are equivalent documents to 141,142 and 185 planned or being drafted?
Given the architecture in IPv6 should Enterprise registries be allowed IPv6 assignments, given that the ISP part of an Enterprise may have a TLD? Should Enterprise Registries only be assigned NLAs?

Hi! Currently, some people from RIPE are working on the drafts (AFAIK) the DNS Stuff (reverse and forward) will also be handled in the document and i am currently working on that stuff (help appreciated) and will meet some people at the IEPG next sunday in Oslo. So i hope to get a first version of my part within the next weeks. The current document can be found under: http://www.ripe.net/lir/registries/ipv6policy-draft-090699.html Greetings Jan -- Jan Czmok Gigabell AG Senior Network Engineer Mainzer Landstr. 46 Member of IPv6-Forum 60325 Frankfurt Phone: +49 69 17084-716 Fax: +49 69 17084-701
