Good morning everyone, in this light I am wondering two things: - Why did the essential netboot related information (filename / server) never made it into the router advertisements? (I know they exist in dhcpv6) - Would this be the right platform to discuss an extension to router advertisements to include a "boot-url" instead of the legacy server + filename format? The latter is already supported by iPXE for years and as far as I can see, many boot roms are based on iPXE already. Best regards, Nico Fernando Gont <fgont@si6networks.com> writes:
Hello, folks,

If you have any comments/feedback, please do let us know. If possible, on the v6ops list (https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/v6ops)
Thanks!
Cheers, Fernando
