Subject: How do I get a public static IPv6 address?
Good day from Singapore,
When I signed up for static IP address with my internet service provider, I only managed to get a public static IPv4 address. > How do I get a public static IPv6 address?
please contant your local Internet Service Provider. Only he can give you a native IPv6 address for your Internet Connection. Usually Internet Service Providers do not just provide a single IPv6 address, but a subnet (in most cases a /48 or a /56). If your Internet Service Provider does not provide IPv6 addresses to customers, you can use a tunnel broker (eg. https://tunnelbroker.net/). But keep in mind, that tunnels have some overhead and a native IPv6 connection should always be preferred. Kind regards Chris
