Backend storage for an LIR IP mgmt system

Hi all, As you may remember from an earlier message. We are currently working on an open source LIR IP address management tool and would like your feedback on the following question. What is the preferred choice of backing storage (database) for the IP allocations and pertaining information? We currently have implemented an XML2 backend and a Berkeley DB backend, and intend to add LDAP (actually OpenLDAP)? So we want to provide an easy "DB-less" install for users who don't have their own and would be confused by a DB setup, but allow users with their own DBs to use them. We'll use Perl DBI/DBD to make this easier. Another question?

Hi again, Another question! If we were to produce prefix lists for routers from the LIR system (which we do) - what brand of routers would you want supported? We currently produce prefix lists for Juniper and Cisco. Where can I get the IPMT requirements document?

Hi all, I am currently writing a suite of tools that perform the LIR management of IP Addresses. I have contacted APNIC and they have sent me a copy of their requirements for an LIR interface and I am looking for the RIPE equivalent. The RIPE web site Tools WG have mentioned in the minutes for meeting RIPE-39 that "We have already produced basic requirements for IP Management Tool...". Where can I get a copy of these requirements?
