[iot-discussion] Reminder: Security BoF, relation between (IoT) devices and infrastructure
Dear colleagues, If you are attending RIPE 74, please be reminded that tonight at 18:00 we will organise a BoF to explore the link between insecure devices and infrastructure security and stability, especially what we would like to discuss is the possible role of the access providers in the system. •What role do service providers want to play? •What role can service providers play? •What do we need from manufacturers? •What is the role of governments? Dear colleagues, Apologies for the reply to self. As mentioned before, due to the nature of the BoFs and the room allocated, there is no official support for remote participation. However, we were wondering if there is a volunteer here in Budapest who will be attending tonights session and who would be able to ad-hoc try and stream this session on a social media of choice or setup and operate a Skype group, that would be welcomed. Hi...i am a new user here. I just read the discussion here and want to know what all about it is? I am a beginner in IoT and worked with raspberry Pi and Arduino for this.
