I only want to point that it cannot be a final warning because there never was a first warning.

I support Toma for co-chair!

Respectfully,
Elad

<WG Co-chair hat on>

This is your final warning Elad. If you continue to mis-use this list and/or fail to follow etiquette, you will be moderated. Further (attempted) violations during or after a period of moderation will result in you being permanently removed from this list. I hope it won’t be necessary to apply these sanctions that. However they will happen if you continue to misbehave.

The WG is in the process of selecting a new co-chair. This is done by a consensus decision that gets taken on this list. That process entails potential candidates volunteering for the position and members of the WG indicating on this list their support for those candidates. That was also explained in my email the other day which started this process. The WG’s co-chair selection process is documented here:
https://www.ripe.net/participate/ripe/wg/iot/internet-of-things-wg-chair-selection-process

Toma was perfectly entitled to expresss his opinion and to support Peter’s candidacy. As indeed anyone else would be entitled do for any of the candidates who decide to stand.

Toma's mail to the list was not spam. It was in scope, appropriate and relevant. Unlike yours.

Falsely accusing him of spamming the list -- and perhaps intimidating others from expressing support for potential co-chairs -- is grossly unacceptable behaviour. It will not be tolerated.

If you need further guidance on this matter, contact me privately and don’t discuss it on this list.
