Dear colleagues,
Following our interaction in Rotterdam in which I presented the thinking on progressing a common understanding of global good practice, I herewith provide you with an update on the work done in the context of the Internet Governance Forum.
If you want to contribute, please join us at one of the upcoming events, join the mailing list (https://mail.intgovforum.org/mailman/listinfo/dc_IoT_intgovforum.org), or write to me directly. I really appreciated the interaction in Rotterdam and stand ready to continue to contribute to the work of this working group.
Best
Maarten

Subject: IGF 2023 - Acceptance of the Dynamic Coalitions IoT Session Submission
Dear all
Please note our session is *accepted* for the IGF 2023 in Kyoto. Registration for the IGF is now open at https://indico.un.org/event/1006568/. We do not know yet at what exact date/time our session will take place. You can find our current session description here.
Input is welcome at any point in time! Suggestions, questions, contributions … aim is to get together to a common global, multistakeholder understanding of how good practice with IoT looks like, taking into the need for and usefulness of IoT applications and services to address societal challenges, core internet values, privacy and data protection in IoT environments, the impact of Artificial Intelligence on IoT governance, and the need to do all this in a secure, transparent way with clear accountability for all that are part of the value chain. You can find the current version of DC-IoT’s Global Good Practice document on the DC IoT Homepage at this link.
Hoping to see you at one or multiple events, looking forward to your input!
Kind regards
Maarten
