Announcing Green Tech Hackathon: in December, in Amsterdam (& online)

Dear colleagues, Join the next RIPE NCC hackathon focused on Green Tech this December! Our goals are to develop tools, policies and protocols to reduce the environmental impact of Internet infrastructure. RIPE NCC hackathons are non-commercial and non-competitive. We focus on cooperation and openness - all the code produced is FLOSS, and all the results are published on public software repositories, wikis, and on blogs to help others further create, experiment, and develop ideas and tools. Please find more information in this RIPE Labs article: https://labs.ripe.net/author/becha/announcing-the-green-tech-hackathon/ Direct link to application form: https://www.ripe.net/participate/forms/apply/green-tech-20234/ Regards, Vesna Manojlović -- Senior Community Builder RIPE NCC

Dear all, there's only few weeks left till our next hackathon -- and here are some updates, including some of the proposed projects: https://labs.ripe.net/author/becha/approaching-the-green-tech-hackathon/ - you can choose to join us only for the Closing Show & "borrel" if you are in Amsterdam [1] - there is going to be at least one Local Hub (Dublin), more in the making! [2] - on 3rd December we have a webinar with inspirational speakers & intro to logistics [3] - online places are still available, in "unlimited" numbers; plus we still have a few seats open for the in-person event; registration for "late birds" closes on 30. November [4] Regards, Vesna Links ==== [1] https://www.ripe.net/participate/forms/apply/borrel-green-tech-2024/ [2] https://github.com/RIPE-Atlas-Community/Green-Tech/blob/main/README.md#local...
