We have faced lots of new challenges as we continue to run and evolve Hackathons during the pandemic. This IETF draft captures much of what we have learned. Comments on it are welcome too.

The project below is case in which having the Hackathon occur virtually actually makes things easier in that we do not need to be as concerned about any project taking valuable physical space or other resources away from other projects.

At the same time, there's an interesting discussion going on , on their
list: someone suggested a project on e-tax & APIs...

Some people complained that the project is:
- maybe not relevant
- maybe too political
- maybe not technical enough

... BUT some other people defended it as:
- it might become relevant
- technical is political
- the spirit of the the "hackathon" is to explore & mix the skills
