it is already a tradition to have a "distributed" hackathon, when we
work on the Quantum Internet:
in 2024, the nodes are in: Delft (Netherlands), Dresden (Germany) and
Paris (France), and Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC)’s
node in Poznań (Poland):
We are calling all interested quantum enthusiasts to join our
pan-European quantum internet hackathon occurring simultaneously on
15-16 February 2024!

Hackathon goals
- Learning about quantum networking, and quantum information technologies
- Creating discussions about quantum network applications
- Forging connections between participants
- Bringing together expertise in different domains
- Building simulations using the QIA simulation platform
Hackathon features
- Non-commercial: the organisers are not-for-profit organisations with
no monetary prizes
- Open Source: all resulting software and tools are released under
non-commercial licenses
- Collaborative: we foster cooperation and teamwork over competition
