YMMV - but I do think it is interesting news when an incumbent sort of officially announces the use of ENUM as a bridging protocol/technology between TDM and IP. I have not yet seen that being announced by any other incumbent, at least not in Germany.
An article saying "BT offers all their mobile and landline subscribers ENUM lookup on outgoing calls" would make a difference, though, but I think this is the news we can wait on forever.
That indeed would make my day! :-) Ths statement wrt. ENUM was IMHO not really detailed, though. That is why I asked for clarification if possible.
