[enum-wg] ENUM motivation

Hello We are beginning the request phase to the 1.5.3.e164.arpa in Portugal and we still have some doubts about the main motivation towards this technology, that would be from: - Traditional Telcos ? No, they want to bill all calls.... - New Telcos ? No, they want to keep their VoIP networks closed... - IP Telephony integrators (Alcatel, Cisco, Siemens,...)? Maybe... but they usually work together with the Telcos - the end users ? Yes :) Is this user interest going to be enough? And are they willing to pay for this registration? They can use free ENUM trees.... How can we push for more ENUM registrations in the e164.arpa tree? Thanks Joao Pereira FCCN
