Dear colleages, though seldom used, this seem to be the appropriate forum for this notice. You might have noticed an increase in traffic e.g. a AMS-IX and LINX at 20:10 CEST (2h 15min ago). This is due to an outage of DE-CIX apparently affecting all switches. DE-CIX mailing list is down too since its upstream went through the same switches. No statement from DECIX management ot interXion (colo provider) yet. Robert

Well, initially a smallish drop, as stuff poured into various black holes, and then an increase of about 1 Gig over normal as routing tables reconverged. Take a look at our public stats: https://stats.linx.net/cgi-pub/combined?log=combined.bits If this is the right graph, AMS-IX saw a 2 Gig spike: http://www.ams-ix.net/hugegraph.html Any other exchanges see spikes?
