Hi, we don't provide public statistics for the Vienna Internet eXchange ( http://www.VIX.at/ ). What I can tell you is that currently, except of ACOnet itself (100Mb/FDX), all members are connected to the VIX switch using 10Mb/HDX Ethernet router-interfaces. We've got interest messages for upgrades to 100Mb/FDX ports from at least 5 members recently. ACOnet/AS1853 as the highest-traffic member is currently utilizing about 10Mbps/FDX during peak hours but as soon as the other members with higher loaded ports are upgrading their connections this will probably soon jump to ~30Mbps/FDX. Most of the lower-traffic members are connected to the VIX location with a 2Mb serial line which currently limits their exchange-traffic to a peak-maximum of 2Mbps/FDX. Currently there are 33 member-connections + 1 service connection to the VIX. The VIX is going to be relocated to a dedicated room within VUCC during Q1/99 offering better service, more space and flexibility.
