Suggestion from Piet Beertema

This feature would be valuable, as it would provide sites all over Europe with the possibility to exert access control on domain names, using the RIPE whois database as authoritative source (like it is used already for e.g. router access lists). The internal data database of DE-NIC for DE subdomains carries a field with this kind of information; in the application we are asking for the "primary network supporting the domain" (and setting the rules for use of gateways etc.), we also ask the service providers to confirm the support. Adapting to what seems to be needed these days the field usually is multi valued; with several sets of keywords describing different views or levels of the network structure (e.g. international service provider ./. integration in some regional network). I can come up with more detailled information in a few days. (and well, as the scheme did evolve over time, some aspects are not as precisely defined and documented as ...)
