Dear colleagues, On June 25, 2016 all of the Internet Domain Name System's root name servers received an unusually high rate of TCP SYN and ICMP traffic. Thanks to the RIPE NCC and other root server operators for this report. The level of transparency in root server operations has been increasing and I appreciate it. Well, the improved transparency and also actually keeping the Internet running. ;) Cheers, -- Shane
