Hi Daniel Oct last year when I took it as routing glitch while later someone told me that it was downtime on Delhi node. Here's my blog post<http://anuragbhatia.com/networking/messed-up-connectivity-of-root-servers-in-india/>at that time with some traceroutes & data. Other then that, in Jan there was issue of k-root node connectivity for biggest Govt. based ISP - BSNL AS9829. You can see my blog post data here<http://anuragbhatia.com/dns/poor-performance-of-k-root-server-delhi-node/> . Thanks. Nice report Mirjam
Thanks for sharing. I found k-root to be having issues in India multiple times. Sometimes due to downtime of Delhi node
when exactly did you observe the Delhi node was down?
, other time due to messed up routing which takes off traffic outside India, increasing latency from 30ms to over 150ms.
That is difficult for us to remedy. But we can try if we get concrete reports.
I am curious to see RIPE probe collected data for the k-root.
