Haven't seen an announcement right here, so FYI: as of SOA# 2004072000 the following AAAA RRs (aka "IPv6 glue") are available from within the root zone: A.DNS.JP. AAAA 2001:DC4:0:0:0:0:0:1 D.DNS.JP.
