Folks, Does anyone know the status of the Diversity Task Force at RIPE? https://www.ripe.net/participate/ripe/tf/ripe-diversity-task-force I note that there is a web page; but no current activity. Besides Vesna's excellent postings. I note that the lack of diversity in the RIPE leadership and those who give keynotes and closing talks are exclusively male at SEE10. Interesting that it's the same guy giving both the keynote AND the closing address. I could do SO much better, personally. Women need to be allowed to speak... not only on behalf of support services but as leaders. It was "explained" to me by two members of the executive board (the lone woman on the executive board wasn't present at SEE10, sadly) that there is no diversity problem at RIPE; notwithstanding that the Leadership page is all-male: https://www.ripe.net/about-us/staff/structure If we don't have women at the leadership circle, we are not diverse. And I won't even get into the hiring practices.
