Malcolm, The CoC was suggested, then formally proposed, discussed by a small group within the community, watered down, agreed to by the WG Chairs and then announced. It was the product of much community conversation. It has been improved since its first versions and is heading in the right direction, but there's more work to do there. I think it's mostly suitable for our community, all all such things must be constantly reviewed to make sure they're still relevant. However I feel that isn't what you mean. What kind of review are you talking about here and what would you see as possible outcomes? This TF hasn't been tasked with looking at the CoC but it is core to what we're doing. Yes, it's not a secret. But it was announced rather than suggested, and there has been no community review yet.

It has been around for several meetings and printed on the badges for at least the last two meetings, if not more. It's not a secret by any means.
HPH has also displayed and talked about the code of conduct in his opening remarks at the last several meetings.
