There were 65 replies, roughly half said that they are either interested or supporting of the idea; 12 people gave their contacts for the follow-up inquiry. Amanda will contact them in January. * Women-in-tech lunch : working with sponsors, in order to get funding to pay speakers; we will approach potential speakers early in 2018 * Mentoring [Donal] Donal sent some notes from his talk with Aaron. Amanda: currently we do manual pairing; we want to make it an automated process, with an open call for volunteers to be mentors, and offering this to newcomers -- so they can be matched according to their expertise & interests. Denesh mentioned that, in UKNOF experience, both the "general pool of available mentors" and the personalized invitation per meeting are needed. Brian added that this would result in establishing a "new normal", that would benefit both the existing community, and the newcomers. * Metrics gathering [Shane] Numbers from Dubai meeting are processed, and available on GitHb (ADD LINK LATER) . Denesh was positively surprised with the increased gender diversity. Shane is interested in expanding the research in measuring other axes of diversity - national, regional - and might receive some data complied by Amanda, if RIPE NCC can share it. Next meeting will be in February. Happy & inclusive holidays everybody !!
