HPH,
Thanks for this.
I’m honestly not sure if we have a Chair at present. There are reasons for this, in that we very purposefully attempted to make the Diversity TF as accessible as possible, but that very strength
can cause issues with situations like this.
I also wonder if we need to have a good discussion about the nature and timescales of the TF, given that the enaction of an improved CoC will not magically solve the communities diversity issues!
I’ve read the report, albeit I think I need to read it again, and while some of the issues raised will be easier to resolve than others, I’m obviously interested in working to find those solutions.
And certainly I would be very interested to hear your thoughts, Hans Petter.
Maybe the next step is to have a call with interested members of the TF and yourself to talk about the IA and to discuss how we can best align all of our various needs and wants?
Brian

Subject: [diversity] Impact assesment for the code of conduct

The Impact assessment from the RIPE NCC has been published as a link at the top of the page:
I would like to thank the RIPE NCC and the RIPE NCC Executive board for providing this assessment.
It would be great if the chair(s) of the task force could make an action plan to address the issues raised in the impact assessment and previously on the list.
I have some ideas I am happy to share with you on this.
PS: apologies for losing track of who is chairing the diversity task force, but it is not listed on

Sincerely,
Hans Petter Holen -
