Outreach to local communities for RIPE 76

Hello, One of the things that we wanted to do to increase diversity was to reach out early to communities near where the meeting is being held. We didn't do that for RIPE 75, but no matter, RIPE 76 is coming up and we have time! Does anybody have suggestions about how we do this? We might consider: * Local universities * Regional IXP * Regional NOG * Local hacker spaces * Programmer clubs & groups I don't know any of these in Marseilles, but maybe someone on the list does? Hi, People on this list might be interested in a Public Comment period that was started yesterday on the CCWG-Accountability Work Stream 2 Draft Recommendations to Improve ICAN's Diversity. To give some background for people not familiar with this group. It is the Cross Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability. It was established as a part of the work related to the IANA Stewardship Transition and Work Stream 2 "focuses on addressing accountability topics for which a timeline for developing solutions and full implementation may extend beyond the IANA Stewardship Transition." Updates to the charter

Hi everyone, I've made some changes to the charter wording as discussed and agreed yesterday during our meeting: https://www.ripe.net/participate/ripe/tf/ripe-diversity-task-force/ Can I also suggest that, in the light of inclusion, we shift our meeting minutes from Etherpad to the RIPE website as well (as child pages underneath the main TF page?). I think for transparency and ease of use, it makes more sense to have our minutes and actions on the website. I don't mind tidying them up and making the pages. What do you think? Amanda

Best practice - increasing female participation in computer science

And now, instead of 10 percent in any given year, the number of women computer science majors ranges between 40 percent and 50 percent."
