Hi, I've slighty modified this form, now: - as somebody suggested non standard ports are now supported. A patched version of the whois client with alternate port is at http://www.rmnet.it/cgi-bin/whois.c - consistent security checks on client execution and error return. - minor cosmetics. Greetings all, /pab
Dear Paolo,
Hi, I've slighty modified this form, now: - as somebody suggested non standard ports are now supported. A patched version of the whois client with alternate port is at http://www.rmnet.it/cgi-bin/whois.c - consistent security checks on client execution and error return. - minor cosmetics.
Greetings all, /pab
Many thanks for your nice web-page/whois-client. We (GARR-NIS) will very likely use it soon to give better access to our database to web navigators. While testing the interface we have discovered the following: 1- some additional source value will be useful in the source popup menu (for example MCI and CANET) 2- domain is missing from the query-type popup menu 3- if you specify server-to-search/other than some options are not used, namely -s (source) and -r (do not recurse) i.e. Results of /usr/local/bin/whois -h whois.nis.garr.it 192.12.192.0 instead of Results of /usr/local/bin/whois -r -h whois.nis.garr.it -s MERIT 192.12.192.0 Ciao! ---------- ---------- Antonio_Blasco Bonito E-Mail: bonito@nis.garr.it GARR - Network Information Service c=it;a=garr;p=garr;o=nis;s=bonito c/o CNUCE - Istituto del CNR Tel: +39 (50) 593246 Via S.
