Dear Working Group, The average update rate to the RIPE Database is 12 updates per minute. As shown the system is capable of handling a sustained rate of over 700 updates per minute for inetnums through mail updates without issues. That is 60 times the average rate. Cases where people actually need to do updates exceeding this rate are very few and far in between. This does not warrant allocating resources to improve this further - our efforts are better spent in other areas such as improving the usability of the user interface to help people manage their content better.
