This depends on what whois client you use. If you use the commandline whois client from RIPE you can just use the new flags on the commandline. As an additional hint, many "stock" clients allow passing flags through to the server by including them - plus the lookup string - in quotes on the command line. Quoting prevents parsing by the local client. Hank Hampel wrote:
