The RIPE NCC is pleased to announce the RIPE Database software release 1.74 to the Release Candidate (RC) environment.

Major features introduced in this release include the:
- Removal of generated "remarks:" from AUT-NUM objects
- Change of syntax of the "role:" attribute
- Prevention of the removal of "abuse-c:" when linked to a resource object
