The client distributed by Debian GNU/Linux and some other distributions (at least Mandrake Linux IIRC) will fail because it sends its version number with -V flag, like the old RIPE client did. I suppose now it's too late to change server behaviour, so I'm finishing to remove this feature from the program and will upload it to the usual places in a few minutes.
