We would like our server to be able to query Ripe automatically to obtain the name of the owner of an IP address. Such a query would occur whenever our server receives an http request from an unknown remote address. We would program the function in Java. Dear Herbert The RIPE NCC does not currently have a java client for accessing the Whos Database. However Google shows that there are a number of these available.
