Dear Moritz, To create an ALLOCATION in the TEST Database, the allocation object must contain this: mnt-by: TEST-NCC-HM-MNT This maintainer exists in the TEST Database with the password "emptypassword" without the quotes. Hi all,
currently I'm integrating automatic assignment of subnets into an application, and face an issue while testing it.
The idea was to use the RIPE test database while developing the application. However the test database doesn't have the same allocations as the real database, so the subnets I am trying to assign are directly below the net 0.0.0.0 - 255.255.255.255. Which of course has a different maintainer, and I can't use PGP authentication for that maintainer either.
I've tried to simply create the allocations in the test database, but it failed with the message "ALLOCATED inetnum objects require the administrative maintainer."
What's the best way to do deal with that problem?
Cheers, Moritz
