I am running a LAN with more than 10 computers (PCs) networked via switches and ports using CAT5 cables (RJ45). I have ESET NOD32 as above running on the network and our updates are from our main server over a WAN using a satellite dish. All our PCs are running on Windows XP Professional SP2 and they are P4s. and they are getting updates from the main server but for 1 machine which gives an error message when updates are due. The error message reads "Internal Server error". I have tried to do the updates manually but still get the same error message and I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall the antivirus software but nothing has changed on this particular PC.
You send your message to a mailing list which does not even come close to dealing with these topics. You should ask your ESET account manager what they can offer as a solution. Most enterprise AV vendors have products that deal with such scenarios. -- Florian Weimer <fweimer@bfk.de> BFK edv-consulting GmbH http://www.bfk.de/ Kriegsstraße 100 tel: +49-721-96201-1 D-76133 Karlsruhe fax: +49-721-96201-99
