Hello there I had some problems in the beginning of 2007 and I got some direction from Agoston Horvath (thanks btw). It kinda solved some of the problems, but I had to run the DB as a static DB to avoid crashes... Anyway, due to some hardware problems we decided to rebuild the whois server (version 3.3) on a new box. Agoston Horvath wrote that there would be a new whois server avail. and 3.3 was old... but I can only find ver. 3.3. Question: Is ver. 3.3 the latest avil. version? If not, where do I pickup the latest and best (not via you CVS link ...) ? version 3.3: Compiling took ages due to a stripped RHEL (prerequisites not in place) but it looks like I've succeeded at last. Loading SAMPLE went OK - but I have problems with RIPE DB (would it be an idea for future releases to store RIPE.CURRENTSERIAL within the ripe.db.gz file ...just for the ease of it ?) First - I'm running a MySQL 4.1.20 but that is the only *big* difference in the list of prerequisites. Second - a minor hack applied to <installdir>/bin/SQL/create.first-stage since I apparently had som problems in the "auto" creation of the RIPADMIN. Hi there, is the following supported? export: to AS54321 announce AS12345 export: to AS54321 action aspath.prepend (AS12345, AS12345); announce AS12345:AS-BACKUPDOWN We try to use rtconfig to generate filter lists, but only the first export line is used. Is this a bug or are multiple export lines not supported by rpsl? Hullo All, This is my first call to the forum. I noticed on the RIPE site earlier discussions on a free ipdb tool which was supposed to be available through Global Crossing through the URL: http://www.freeipdb.org This URL gives me no joy however, is this all a joke? And has anyone good recommendations for an IP Management tool to handle the stockcontrol, allocations and assignments of Ipv4 and Ipv6 addresses for a telecoms company? We have been having no end of solutions presented to us which each just didn't quite do what promised :( Anybody out there with good experiences with any tool?
