Roger,
If you are using e-mail, you need to include a line that looks like:
password: your passphrase
In the message.
If you are using webupdates, you need to click on the "Authorization"
link near the top of the page, and enter you passphrase. Then you can
click the "Edit" link and update the domain object.
If you have lost or forgotten your passphrase, then please e-mail
<ripe-dbm(a)ripe.net>, and we will help you reset this.
You can see more documentation at the FAQ page:
http://www.ripe.net/info/faq/db/security.html
Cheers,

No small wonder :) There is a typo in "password:", there is one "s" too
much,
and beside that, the first field has to be the name of the object type,
in
this case "domain:".
It is common practice, to add the password line at the end of the
object.
And it is no a good idea, to post the passord openly ;) so you should
change
it very fast.
And then maybe have a look into using gpg/pgp or X.509 certificates for
authentication, instead of the very unsecure password mechanism.
Cheers
Hendrik
