Agenda item, CSTD wg in Vienna?

Nurani, On the Thursday of the RIPE week is the cooperation wg. One of the agenda items we would like to have a description of the CSTD wg (non) process. Are you interested in, willing to, etc do it? 5 min, i.e. short... Patrik

Hi Patrik - please excuse my ignorance - but what is "the CSTD"? I found some interesting meanings for this acronym, like: . Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing . Centre for Staff Training and Development . Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development . Communication Studies, Theatre, and Dance but I have a vague feeling that neither one is what Nurani has already agreed to present on in the Coop WG... Best, -C. yes, I have found this one too. :-) I guess the point I tried to make was that not everybody is equally familiar with (niche) topic specific acronyms - so it might be helpful to have them fully spelled at least once when they are introduced first time... Best, -C.

Let me state it this way...it was not really my intention to cc the full list on this first mail to Nurani (and Gordon), but "only" the coop wg chairs...but my email client fooled me. The discussion is nothing secret of course, but I first of all did not intend to make it hard for Nurani or Gordon to say no to the invitation (they could do it in more privacy than when the whole list is watching). Secondly, all intended recipients did know the acronyms... Anyway, done is done. And of course the acronyms and context will be explained a bit better when we come closer to the event. I can assure you that! Patrik

Hi Patrik, with this background - "just" the chairs for the time being instead of the whole WG already - using acronyms makes all sense, of course. :-) Cheers, -C. Am 18.10.2011 14:04, schrieb Patrik Fältström:
