I am not planning to reconsider stepping down, although I appreciate the entreaty. This due both to the climate on the WG list, and to my personal workload, which was already making it very difficult to act as chair.

I understand and respect your decision.

Note that Collin has never been an "official" WG chair. He has merely dedicated his time and expertise to the group in the past.
