ICANN, ARIN and APNIC seem to be upset with the UN:

What’s notable is the absence of any of the other RIRs, which leads me to think that they probably don’t support the position taken.

Also if the statements from the UN representative were such an affront why did it take them two months to pen this rather ridiculous blog post which reads like them whinging about not being taken seriously enough…
