Dear colleagues, Thank you Richard for your initial query, and to all for the many responses. To bring the focus back to the task at hand, I wanted to float a suggestion responding specifically to the question of what registration information IANA publishes. You may be aware of the draft IANA stewardship proposal that was presented to the APNIC community ahead of their recent meeting: http://blog.apnic.net/2014/08/18/next-steps-towards-the-iana-transition/ Included in this model is the development of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) between the RIRs and the IANA operator (currently ICANN), to be signed before 30 June 2015. Without pre-judging the outcome of RIPE community discussions, it seems likely that a RIPE proposal would include a similar provision. Would it address the concerns raised by Richard (and others) to include an explicit review of existing IANA services (including publication practices) in the development phase for such an SLA? Best regards, Chris
