RIPE Community Consultation on IPv6 and ITU". As you might be aware of, ITU-T is working on IPv6 issues, just like everyone else. You can find the ITU-T IPv6 webpage at this URL: <http://www.itu.int/net/ITU-T/ipv6/> There have been some discussions in the RIPE region related to this work. Enough so that we suggest RIPE is requestion RIPE NCC to actively participate in these discussions. This will be discussed on the RIPE Closing Plenary on Friday as well as during the Cooperation Working Group on Wednesday. The suggested text as of Tuesday morning is what you can see below. However, it notes some concerns recently expressed in the ITU IPv6 Group that the current IP address management system is inadequate to support operators in developing countries. The RIPE Community does not share these concerns and mandates the RIPE NCC, in consultation with the Community, to identify ways to address concerns (if any) within the current IP address management system. ====
