Colleagues,

Just to flag that the European Commission has launched a consultation on Internet Governance in preparation for the 20-year review process of the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS+20) starting next year:

This comes in as a response to the May 2024 Council Conclusion on the Future of Digital Policy which emphasised " the need to develop EU strategy on the multistakeholder governance of the Internet to set out a common position to uphold in international fora with a view to ensuring an open, free, affordable, neutral, global, interoperable, reliable and secure Internet”: https://data.consilium.europa.eu/doc/document/ST-9957-2024-INIT/en/pdf

We'll look into it and share more details in due course -- stay tuned!

All best
Romain
