Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Internet Standards Deployment

Hi all, The European Commission is setting up a Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Internet Standards Deployment, looking into strengthening the deployment of existing standards and operational best practices in four areas: - IPv6 - modern E-mail communication standards - DNS security - Routing security & hygiene The initiative was presented during its conceptual phase at RIPE 90 in this working group. The idea is to bring together valuable deployment expertise to capture proven approaches in multi-stakeholder guidelines that support broad and coordinated adoption across sectors. Participation is open to anyone with relevant experience and interest. Sharing Stakeholder Submissions to the WSIS+20 Zero Draft

Dear WG colleagues We would like to share with you several stakeholder submissions to the WSIS+20 Zero Draft document. In particular, we would like to highlight those prepared by the technical community organisations RIPE NCC, APNIC, ISOC and ICANN, as well as the submissions from the Informal Multistakeholder Sounding Board (IMSB) and TCCM. We also encourage you to have a look at the Annex of the IMSB submission as it contains a calendar with of dates/opportunities to engage with the IMSB members. Dear colleagues, As you may know, the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) has published the second version of the draft updating the ICP-2 document. The new draft document titled "Governance Document for the Recognition, Operation, and Derecognition of Regional Internet Registries" can be found here: https://www.nro.net/policy/internet-coordination-policy-2/rir-governance-do… A new round of consultation is now starting and the RIPE Community is invited to share feedback on this document via the RIPE Discussion list until Friday, 7 November 2025. You are welcome to share it within your networks. Based on the positive feedback received on BEREC’s findings presented at our last RIPE Coop WG meeting in Lisbon, and noting that the Coop WG Small Team's work aligns with BEREC’s conclusion we suggest that the RIPE Cooperation WG consider signing the Joint Statement collectively, on behalf of its membership provided there are no objections.
