Hi, As you can see below European Commission just released human rights guidance for 3 business sectors. I have helped COM and specifically IHRB with their piece of the work, and I know others on this list have also helped. Everything from more formal support to extremely good comments that have helped making the documents what they finally ended up being. RIPE NCC Signs MoUs with Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of UAE and American University of Beirut

Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC signed two new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) yesterday during RIPE 75 in Dubai: one with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the United Arab Emirates, and another with the American University of Beirut (AUB). The MoUs formalise the existing relationships the RIPE NCC has with each of these organisations, which come from our increased involvement in the region. The two agreements are very similar in nature, and focus on organising and promoting training courses, meetings, academic initiatives and IPv6 roadshows. The RIPE NCC also agreed to provide the TRA with technical expertise, and agreed to work with the AUB on promoting RIPE Atlas in the Levant region. RIPE NCC Roundtable Meeting for Governments and Regulators in Bahrain

Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC just posted a somewhat belated update on a recent meeting held in Bahrain. Building on the model of Roundtable Meetings for Governments and Regulators that we have been employing successfully in Europe and, more recently, the CIS region, this was the first such Roundtable Meeting to be held in the Middle East, with attendees from Ministries and Regulators in the Arab countries in our service region. Focus points in the discussion included IPv6 deployment, Internet growth trends in the region and participation in the RIPE Policy Development Process. Report on the RIPE IoT Roundtable meeting in Leeds on 27 September 2017

Dear colleagues, Following on from two successful BoF sessions at earlier RIPE Meetings, the RIPE NCC held an Internet of Things (IoT) roundtable meeting in Leeds on 21 September 2017. The meeting was attended by 30 RIPE community members and aimed to advance the work of the IoT BoF ahead of RIPE 75 - to see what RIPE and the RIPE NCC can do to address IoT issues.
