Hi, I don’t have a great deal to add because I think the proposed charter published by Nina is a fantastic way forward. Moving the focus of an interconnection group at RIPE *away* from being centered around Internet Exchange Points and BGP interconnection (on the basis that there is another association which does a great job in this area and also on the basis that much of the RIPE region is well served by professional IXes now) is absolutely the right direction, and that the proposed focus on applications right across the stack is welcome. I'd personally like to see messages and outputs from the Carrier Ethernet community make it through to this working group when they further the topic of layer 2 interconnections (Of course I have a commercial interest in this subject too). Congratulations on publishing a great looking "future-proof" charter and I wish the proposed working group enormous success.
