Announcing updated CoC
Dear TF members, We're ready to publish the updated draft+labs article. However, the RIPE Chair has suggested it would be good to take the summer period into account and have the webinar/deadline for comments in September. Regarding the timeline, how about the following: - Very soon (today/tomorrow) publish labs article/updated draft - Webinar: 3 September (~13:00 UTC) - Deadline for comments: 17 September If this timeline works, then it might be better to hold off on publishing the registration form for the webinar until August. It seems a bit odd asking people to register 2 months in advance, and some might forget by then. Instead, we could note that we're planning a webinar for early September in the labs article/announcement and share the details closer to then. Let me know what you think. PS: I'll ask Karla to handle these last bits, as I'm currently on vacation for the next ten days - she's subscribed to this list. Cheers Ant
Ant,
From my point of view delaying to September works, given the mid-November date of the RIPE meeting, but I still see RIPE 83 as the deadline for having this first doc signed, sealed and delivered.
I will comment that I'm planning to be on leave on the 2nd and 3rd of September, which may or may not be an issue with those exact dates. We're pretty flexible on our end with this, so happy to use another date if that works better (1 September? Late August?) Cheers Ant On 05/07/2021 15:25, Brian Nisbet wrote:

Hi Brian, Hi all, Ideally the new code of conduct would be in place when registration for RIPE 83 opens, sometime mid - end September. Kind regards, Mirjam On 05/07/2021 15:25, Brian Nisbet wrote:
