Mirjam,

Thanks, but we reference PCs in the CoC as it stands right now, so this is all data for consideration, really, about what is the best approach.

I mean, I would like the CoC to be a condition of running an event supported by the NCC, but I do not claim to understand the cultural differences in different parts of the service region and how such things might interact.

Hi Brian,

Leo asked me to jump in here: As far as I understand, it's the
communities as a whole (not the programme committees) who will have a
say in whether they want to adopt this specific code of conduct. That's
why I suggested to reach out to the ENOG, MENOG and SEE lists now to
encourage them to review the code of conduct and the RIPE Labs article.

As organiser of the events, the RIPE NCC might actually insist that
there is some kind of a code in place. And I am hoping that the regional
communities will appreciate all the work the TF has done and will adopt
the RIPE Code of Conduct.

Kind regards,
Mirjam
