The RIPE Policy Development Process is at your disposal. The AAWG is just as entitled to propose and agree a policy as any of the other RIPE WGs. You seem to have a lot of sympathetic ears here, so over to you. In the interests of Full Disclosure, I should mention that I will be submitting some of my own proposals very shortly (I referred to them briefly in Prague); they include providing registration- / changed-dates for IP and ASN allocations in all WHOIS responses (ie without requiring the -b switch) and also providing information in the standard WHOIS data on which LIR (if any) was involved in allocating a specific resource -- Richard
