And if you want to access a European database then you are going to have to deal with us nasty Europeans.
Just 2 things: - Privavy laws in Europe seem to have much stronger restrictions compared to US laws. - And: a contract between ICANN/IANA and RIPE can't break European laws. European law is stronger than such a contract. If this should be changed it needs a mutual agreement between EU and US government. Is such an agreement in place?
